Snas is an email-based AI assistant that lets you write newsletters, group emails, alerts and updates in the email programme you already use. Snas polishes your rough message, you approve it by replying Yes, and it sends the approved email to the right preconfigured list using an authorised sender.

Why we created Snas

Snas grew out of more than 20 years of experience working with email newsletters and email communication. We know that traditional email marketing and campaign platforms have their place, particularly when you need sophisticated campaigns, detailed reporting and full control over newsletter design. But we also know how much time even experienced users can spend wrestling with templates, drag-and-drop editors, layouts, spacing, image sizes and mobile rendering.

We wanted a simpler way to communicate with the right people, at the right time and from the right authorised sender, without turning every message into a design project.

Traditional multi-recipient emails can also create deliverability problems. Messages sent to large groups from a normal personal or business email account may be flagged as bulk or suspicious mail, particularly when authentication and sending domains are not configured for this type of traffic. Snas is designed specifically for group communication, sending through its configured sending service on behalf of authorised senders while directing replies back to the original sender.

So we stripped away the complexity. Instead of learning another email editor, you simply use the email programme you already know. Write what you want to say and let Snas add the polish.

Why spend your time building an email when you could just send one?

With Snas, the email programme is the interface. There are no templates to build, no boxes to drag around and no layouts to fight with. Use Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail or whichever email programme you already use.

Snas is not intended to replace sophisticated email marketing platforms in every situation. It is designed for people and organisations that want to send polished newsletters, group emails, alerts, announcements, reminders and updates without spending their time building emails.

How Snas works

1. Write

Write your message naturally in your usual email programme. It can be rough notes, a quick update or a fully written email.

2. Choose your list

Put the name of the preconfigured list at the top of your email, for example Members:. If you do not specify a list, Snas can send the message to all your configured lists.

3. Snas polishes it

Snas uses AI to turn your rough email into a clear, professional message while keeping your intended meaning.

4. Approve

You review what Snas has prepared. If you are happy with it, simply reply Yes.

5. Send

Snas sends the approved message to the selected list using an authorised sender.

Just send the instruction Lists: and Snas will reply with your available list names. No dashboard to search and no codes to remember.

Snas uses passwordless magic-link login. Enter your email address and Snas sends you a secure link to sign in.

There is also a practical delivery problem with ordinary mailing lists. Consumer email providers can treat bulk or group email sent through personal accounts as suspicious, particularly where sending practices, authentication or domains do not align. Snas is designed so messages are sent through its configured sending service on the user’s behalf, with replies directed back to the authorised sender. This provides a more suitable sending arrangement for the type of group communication Snas is designed to handle.

Why “Snas”?

Snas is an Irish word meaning polish.

It seemed like the right name. You provide the words and the meaning. Snas adds the finishing polish before your message goes out.
